If you have booked airport transfer a driver will be waiting for you as soon as you reach arrivals. The driver normally carries a sign which should show your name but may also indicate the name of your school and will transport you straight to your booked accommodation. The school often present a welcome pack at the arrivals lounge but you may also find this pack at your accommodation. In any case should you miss this pack you will certainly obtain all necessary information during the first day of the school.
If you haven't booked airport transfer you will have to make your own way to your accommodation. We shall send you your accommodation address no later than 1 week prior to the commencement of your course. The easiest way to get from the airport is by taxi. Make sure you inquire the price beforehand though so you won't be in for any unpleasant surprises. |

| First Day |
|
On the first day, as on any other day, it is very important to be punctual. Note carefully that the time at which you should report to the school reception desk on the first day will vary from school to school. It is generally between 08:00 and 09:00 though exact times will be given to you approximately 2 weeks before arrival.
On the first day a placement test is normally conducted so as to enable the school to analyse your profile and stream you to the correct class together with students of similar basic standard and course requirements. Schools increasingly require that this test be done even before arrival so that the first day can straight away be more fruitful and beneficial. We will let you know exactly how you will do your test once your course has been booked and confirmed.
