We work together with our partner schools in order to offer various accommodation alternatives for each destination. The range of accommodations will include options intended to cater for most preferences and requirements amongst students. Below we have tried to give a general description of the different types of accommodation usually available in order to help you make a suitable choice.
We at LanGo are fully aware that accommodation is an important factor when studying abroad especially for longer study periods. We naturally always try to select schools having a good standard of accommodation at a reasonable price. In general though, student accommodation around the world tends to be simple and basic and, generally speaking, not in any way luxurious or extravagant. If you would require a higher standard of accommodation please let us know and we would be pleased to assist you.

| Host Family |
|
 The choice of a host family will help you tremendously in the development of your language skills as you will obviously be forced to confront everyday problems and situations and to communicate thereon using your study language.
In a host family it is vital to observe and follow the simple rules set up by the family in order to ensure a smooth and pleasant stay. What is normally required is basic good manners and ordinary common sense such as being in time for meals, apologizing for being late or tidying up in general. Well worth pointing out is that there might be cultural differences between your country and the host country especially regarding expected behavior between family members. But these very differences are often the charm of living with a host family - so pack a humble attitude and enjoy!
If you are a little flexible and willing to accept these basic rules and would like to experience family life in a different country the host family option will be the best option.
Choice between different meal plans and of single or shared room often remains an open option to be made when booking your language travel package.

| Shared Apartment |
|
 If you are more of the independent type the shared apartment may ultimately be the better idea. Normally you will be sharing the apartment with other students of the same or of a different school. Needless to say you will be expected to show respect towards your flat mates but on the other hand you are free to come and go as you please and can be more independent. The shared apartment option is a very popular alternative since you get to know people in the same situation as yourself and might even be a means to make lifelong friendships.
Normally you can choose between a single and a shared room. Meals are not included and you will have to prepare your own food. Normally the bathroom, kitchen and any other common areas are shared between you and the other tenants.
In some rare cases the owner of the apartment lives in the flat as well but this does not normally give rise to any problems. You still come and go as you please, cook for yourself etc. Let us know beforehand if you definitely do not want to stay in a flat with the owner and we will see what we can do for you.

| Private Apartment |
|
 If you want to stay completely on your own a private apartment is the logical choice. Sometimes the apartment can accommodate 2 or 3 persons and this is an advantage especially if you are a group of friends or if you are traveling with your partner. Again no meals will be included and you prepare your own meals. This is normally the most expensive accommodation alternative but may be the most indicated in certain cases.

| Student Residence |
|
 Living in a student residence is comparable to staying in a shared apartment. You can book either a single or a shared room and you normally share the bathroom and kitchen with a number of other students. Sometimes these residences offer private bathrooms normally at an extra charge. This type of accommodation is also very popular and can be one of the least expensive. |

| Hotel |
|
 Together with our partner schools we have arrangements with hotels in the neighbouring areas and we are often in a position to help you book a hotel near the school suited to your needs and pocket. Please contact us for more information if you would like to stay at a hotel during your course. |

|
| Att ordna eget boende |
|
| It may well be that you prefer finding your own accommodation or that you happen to have friends or relatives close to your school destination. Should you like to organise your own accommodation it is perfectly ok with us. In that case you would only need to book your course. |
